Great Lakes Adds Telluride Flights from Phoenix & Los Angeles

TELLURIDE, Colorado (September 9, 2017) – Great Lakes Airlines recently announced the addition of flights from Phoenix Sky-Harbor (PHX) and Los Angeles (LAX) to Telluride Regional Airport (TEX). The PHX service is currently scheduled to run through October, and the LAX flights will operate through the ski season.

The LAX and PHX flights will both operate twice-weekly on Mondays and Thursdays, with LAX run on a 30-seat Embraer 120 Brasilia and PHX on a Beechcraft 1900. These flights will run in addition to the current 10 flights per week from Denver International Airport (DEN) to TEX.

The LAX and PHX flights begin this week and are for sale on the Great Lakes site, through codeshare partner United Airlines, and on all online travel agencies such as Kayak, Expedia and Orbitz. The LAX flight will make a stop in Prescott, AZ, and the PHX flight will make a stop in Page, AZ, to pick up and drop passengers.

“We appreciate the great efforts of our partners at Great Lakes to continue to expand service to Telluride Airport, and the addition of LAX and PHX flights to TEX are great options for both our inbound guests and outbound locals, just 10 minutes from town and the ski resort” said Colorado Flights COO Matt Skinner.
